OVERVIEW: The Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-03 RFT is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.The tire provides great winter weather traction and it grips the road well in snow, on ice and in other cold temperature weather conditions. The tire was manufactured with the Multicell compound which increases the winter traction by cutting through the top layers of surface water and eliminating water from the tread. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by channeling water and slush from below the tire footprint. This also prevents slush from getting built up between the tread elements, which can block the tires traction. While the tire is not recommended for warmer weather use, as the compound can wear out quicker and is not resistant to summer weather and heat damage, it is branded with the tire industrys three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its ability to perform well in the most severe winter weather conditions.This tire is a run flat model, which means that after the loss of air pressure, it can provide temporary restricted mobility. The tire withstands the weight of the vehicle and the passengers for 50 miles at up to 50 mph. This allows the driver to arrive to a safe location to repair or change the tire after a puncture or other damage. This prevents the driver and passengers from being stranded on the side of the road. Run flat tires are manufactured for vehicles that do not have space for spare tires. As a run flat tires construction (the reinforced sidewall) makes the tire heavier than their regular radial counterparts, run flat and regular tires cannot be mixed on the same vehicle.The special L.
