Carlisle Sure Trail. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All weather traction Longer lasting tread life Enhanced load durability. OVERVIEW: The Carlisle Sure Trail is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The tread design and the all season tire compound increase the all weather traction. The tread designs detailed ribbed pattern improves the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges. The compound maintains the rubber flexibility and keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. The circumferential grooves actively prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. In this manner, the tire upgrades the year round driving safety. The model also increases its usability. The symmetric ribbed tread design increases the surface contact and enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids irregular tread wear formations along the tread area. The durable compound, on the other hand, slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber compounds. This combination lengthens the tread life significantly. The Sure Trail upgrades the load and driving durability. The reinforced steel belt construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As the tire does not deform under the load pressure, it is able to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. This increases the load capacity and boosts the driving security in various weather conditions. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tires possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
