GreenBall Tow-master ST Bias HT326. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All weather traction Bias ply construction for reinforcement Fuel efficient drive Trailer tire, NOT FOR LIGHT TRUCKS. OVERVIEW: The GreenBall Tow-master ST Bias HT326 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and the all season compound work together to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility in colder temperatures while the tread design finds excellent traction on all weather surfaces. The four wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tires footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and excellent all weather traction increase the tires traction, which ensures a safer year round performance. The tires internal structure features a bias ply construction. This ensures that the tire maintains its optimal shape under the towing and load pressure. As the tire does not lose its optimal shape and it keeps its stiff sidewalls, it is capable of better performance. The reinforced structure allows the model to carry and withstand heavy loads, increasing its load durability greatly. It also allows the tire to increase its road contact to boost its steering responsiveness and driving stability to improve its ability to follow the towing vehicles instructions. The stiffer sidewall construction prevents the model from swaying during the drive, enhancing its ability to be towed. The Tow-master ST Bias HT326 is also very fuel efficient. The lower tire weight reduces the rolling resistance, which is the force determining the towing vehicles energy consumption. This results in lower levels of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire both cost efficient and environmentally friendly. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tires possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
