Hi-Run LPT. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: All weather traction Trailer tire, NOT FOR LIGHT TRUCKS Enhanced durability. OVERVIEW: The Hi-Run LPT is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The tire offers great all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern and all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound maintains the tires flexible traction, while the tread designs close road contact ensures better road grip throughout the year. The treads zigzag circumferential grooves actively prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tires footprint. The improved all weather road grip and hydroplaning resistance improve the year round performing capability. The models reinforced internal structure enhances its durability. The construction features strengthened steel belts and a full nylon overlay that upgrade the tires uniformity. They prevent the shapes deformation under the driving and load pressure affecting it. The maintained optimal tire shape enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. The better durability guarantees an upgraded driving safety in all weather. The LPT is easily controlled. The ribbed tread designs constant road contact boosts the tires steering responsiveness and driving stability. The ribs closely follow the road surface, which enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicles instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This promotes a secure year round performance and a secure towing experience. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tires possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
