    It works. Since I am not a professional bike racer (and I am past the point of pretending I am even close to being one), I went for results- which in my case is 1) durability/ longevity 2) reasonable ease of mounting and 3) affordability. Rolling resistance is meaningless to me since a) I am not racing and b) I ride for fitness and the joy of riding.

    It has all the criteria for me. 1000 miles and no puncture (that is a little good luck, I know) and no indication of significant wear.

    I am done with brand names charging an arm and a leg for products that don’t offer me anything I need but a name recognition. So, this tire is for me. I bought 4 for two of my bikes and I am ordering 4 more soon.

    I received a pair of the 700 x 28 tires in August 2025 for $18.99, which on price alone is a fantastic value. These tires are very heavy for the size (421 grams and 460 grams) and I have production concerns because the difference in weight between the two is almost 10%. Will these tires last a long time, I would imagine based on mass alone. Will they have more puncture resistance? Due to mass, I hope so, but only time and miles will tell. Do they ride like heavy tires? Yes.
    Ideal for: low price, long durability, not interested in going fast with your energy
