Nankang Rubber Tire Corporation Ltd is the longest established tire manufacturer in Taiwan, having began operations in 1940 by a group of engineers. Based in the beginning upon the principals of Japanese manufacturing technologies, Nankang Rubber Tire Corp has grown substantially. Its 2 Taiwanese plants (Nankang & Hsinfung) continue to manufacture the majority of Nankang’s product. September 2003 marked the commencement of production at Nankang’s Jiangsu facility in mainland China. This up to date expansion ensures economies of scale for the future development of Nankang’s progressive product range.
